When is an apple not an apple?

A series on drawing as a way of thinking about what it is we see.

Each sessions asks a question:

What do you see?
Draw an onion, draw your own shoes.

When is an apple not an apple?
Draw an apple as an insect would see it, draw an apple as if it is large like a planet.

Who is that person in the mirror?
Draw a self portrait.

Is that a dangerous monster?
Draw a cute monster,  a frightening monster. Draw yourself as if you were monstrous.

Duration: Each session takes an hour

Materials: paper, ballpoint pens, 8b pensils
